BCBA Therapist
The Children’s SPOT, Inc. is currently in search of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) Therapists who are looking to be part of a professional, passionate, and expanding organization based in Columbia, Maryland. The BCBA will be assigned a caseload based on location and experience. Currently, there are openings in Howard, Prince George, Mongomery, Baltimore, Carrol and Anne Arundel Counties.
The essential functions of the BCBA Therapist will be to assess and develop teaching procedures to address the deficits and needs of the client using direct instruction, discrete trial, shaping, chaining, task analysis, and schedules of reinforcement. The individual will meet with parents/caregivers, school personnel, other service providers, and ABA therapists to complete assessment, conduct observations, develop data tracking systems, and to train on programs for the individual receiving services. The BCBA will provide session notes, record data during each session with the client, and conduct program fidelity checks. The BCBA may be responsible for supervising an ABA therapist and working directly with clients receiving services. There are opportunities to co-treat with other professionals.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a Master’s degree, have their BCBA certification and in good standing with BACB, knowledge of verbal operants, and experience implementing home-based programs. Candidates should possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, work independently, and effectively collaborate with others.
ABA Instructor
The Children’s SPOT, Inc. is currently in search of ABA instructors who are looking to be part of a professional, passionate, and expanding organization. The ABA instructor will be an independent contractor and will be assigned a caseload based on experience and location. Currently, there are openings in Maryland in Howard, Prince George, Mongomery, Baltimore, Carrol and Anne Arundell Counties.
The essential functions of the ABA instructor will be to implement a program developed by a BCBA to address the deficits and needs of the client using direct instruction, discrete trial, shaping, chaining, task analysis, and reinforcement procedures. The individual will provide session notes and record data during each session with the client. The ABA instructor is supervised by a BCBA and will receive initial and ongoing training. The ideal candidate would be familiar with applied behavior analysis terminology and have experience implementing an ABA program developed by a BCBA. However, we are willing to provide more intensive training for less experienced candidates who exhibit strong interpersonal skills, a desire to learn and a strong work ethic. Candidates should possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, work independently, and effectively collaborate with others.
Speech Language Pathologist
Fuly Licensed Speech Language Pathologists wanted. The ideal candidate has experience working with children ages 2- 21 with a variety of disorders. Our company is the ideal place work with all the tools and support you need to help your clients succeed.
PT evening therapist for center based services
Our center offers opportunities to work alongside a variety of clinicians from different disciplines including occupational therapy and Applied Behavior Analysis to help improve outcomes for our clients. At our center location our therapists support a variety of clients with speech and language delays, expressive receptive language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, apraxia, Autism, and Down syndrome. At our Early Learner location we provide speech-language services to preschool age autistic children.
PT daytime therapist for school based services
We are looking for a speech therapist to provide services 2-3 days a week for our private school partner in Eldersberg, MD and work with children with language-based learning challenges. The school offers a unique opportunity to work alongside reading specialists and creative and engaging teachers in a small school setting (less than 65 stuents enroleed!).
